Qoya Inspired Movement Feminine Fire

  • The Bunker SLO 810 Orcutt Road San Luis Obispo, CA, 93401 United States (map)

We often explore in Qoya the freedom that there’s no wrong way to move our body, which allows us to focus less on how it looks and more on how it feels. Through movement, ritual, and community connection, we learn to trust the physical sensation of truth in our bodies. This practice is designed to allow us to feel how the body and movement are portals to remembering, shifting from going through the motions to savoring life as sacred. Classes are a place to remember how to listen to your body and explore what it feels like when you stay in resonance with yourself, enabling us to move out of our head/thinking and move back into the body/feeling and trust what we notice. This method can be practiced at any age, fitness level, and mobility. There is no way you can do Qoya wrong, there are no levels, no experience is needed, just a willingness to show up for yourself, your intentions, and your prayers. There are also opportunities to connect with like-hearted souls, build belonging, and activate a movement of women who connect with their essence as wise, wild, and free.

This event is in conjunction with The Mama Temple, a collaborative art exhibition taking place at The Bunker SLO during the month of July.

20 spots available. Get tickets here.
