SLO County Arts Council Annual Report
Past Reports
The arts are essential infrastructure—culturally, economically, and civically.
In 2025, even as arts funding faced uncertainty at the state and national levels, creativity across our county did not retreat—it expanded. SLO County Arts stepped forward to strengthen the systems that allow artists and cultural organizations to do their work. Together, we reinstated the Poet Laureate program, secured two new funding opportunities for local artists launching in 2026, and completed the Central Coast’s first-ever comprehensive Arts and Culture Economic Impact Report.
