Work of Art: Business Skills for Artists

This Thursday, April 11th from 12 to 1:30 PM join a free, virtual workshop on Recordkeeping. This is a workshop for artists and by artists. Learn how to track revenues and expenses, make informed projections, and gain a clearer understanding of your artistic business finances. Facilitated by Alicia Trujillo.

Alicia Trujillo is the Operations Assistant for the non-profit Sol Treasures located in King City, CA. She has an AA in Computer Business Administration, and she is the owner of Alicia + Marie Designs where she personalizes Arts, Crafts, and Party Decorations for her customers. She volunteers in her community with the KCHS FFA Booster Club, KCAM PTO, Girls Inc, alongside other community events.

This event is brought to you by the Central Coast Arts Coalition as part of the California Arts Council Creative Corps program. Our “Work of Art: Business Skills for Artists” is a professional development curriculum designed to teach business skills to artists in all disciplines; the curriculum was developed by Springboard for the Arts. Artists can take the whole series, customized combinations, or individual workshops that best suit their needs.
