Art After Dark is the event where art, culture, and community come to life!
Art After Dark is a free, self-guided art walk taking place from 5pm to 8pm on the First Friday of each month. This event celebrates local creativity with visual exhibitions, live music, and community gatherings in SLO County galleries, businesses, and organizations. We encourage residents and visitors alike to explore the uniqueness of arts and culture here in SLO County.

Join us for “Love in the Making: A Love Letter to SLO” on February 7th and help us kick off 2025 with creativity, connection, and community celebration!
In addition to showcasing art and performances in venues across Downtown SLO and beyond, this special Art After Dark features some additional unique experiences for participants to enjoy. Region Event Center will serve as the primary event venue, featuring a floral pop-up, live music, an interactive art display, and more.

Stop by participating businesses for special deals or treats. Many businesses will stay open later than their usual hours for Art After Dark, so this is your chance to browse their selection of goods after hours!
