High Tide is a community-curated group exhibition that celebrates the creative energy, mutual recognition, and shared culture of artistic expression along California's Central Coast. Each participating artist was asked to nominate another local artist whose work they admire. This ripple effect of appreciation resulted in a diverse, multigenerational, and deeply interconnected lineup - one that reflects the region's rich and collaborative artistic ecosystem.
At the heart of High Tide is the belief in the power of community to shape culture.

Thursday, August 14 from 4:30-7:30pm will be another reception for High Tide as we welcome students back to campus for the first week of classes. We'll have wine provided by our season partner, Hope Family Wines, and delicious snacks. Many of the participating artists will be in attendance, recreating the good vibes and community gathering of our opening reception.
