Join Resident Artist Holly Beals in painting a colorful, playful interpretation of dried flowers in a vase. She will guide you through from start to finish, using a variety of techniques. Both classes will focus on a floral + vase combination, with focuses on pattern, color and texture. Techniques include the use of paint pens and a rubber shaper, along with collage application.

• Intermediate to Advanced Acrylic Painters

• Bring your own supplies

  • Wood panel size 8x8 inches, 10x10 inches max

  • Acrylic paints and a variety of small / medium brushes

  • High Flow medium (thins and extends colors, or use water)

  • Posca paint pens in white, green & orange

  • Rubber shaper to scrape paint away - The handle end of a fine tip paintbrush works too!

  • Collage papers, I especially like old cookbook pages

  • Matte medium - This will be provided, for glueing and sealing collage paper
